A sunlit room with original Copper Orchard and Woodland Dusk art
Copper Orchard and Woodland Dusk in a sunlit room.

Autumn, at home, starts in one corner. It might be a chair by a window, a small table for a cup, one piece of art at eye level, and something soft within reach. The aim is not to remake the whole room. It is to give one ordinary ritual a warmer setting.

This guide uses two currently listed Nollei collections: Copper Orchard, described through warm ivory, copper and ochre, and Woodland Dusk, built around forest, copper and chalk. Both are original Nollei artwork, made to order. Start with one palette, then let the other appear as a small accent.

Pick your palette first

If your room gets afternoon sun and already has warm wood or linen, Copper Orchard is a natural starting point. If the corner is shaded, north-facing, or meant to feel slower in the evening, Woodland Dusk gives you a deeper botanical note. These are useful directions, not rules: choose the collection that makes the existing room easier to live with.

The existing autumn room image shows how the two stories can sit together without turning every surface into a pattern. Keep one collection as the main color story and borrow the other for one smaller object.

A copyable example: a quiet reading corner

Use this arrangement as a starting point, then swap pieces to fit the space you already have. Open each product page before ordering: it is the current source for available sizes, finishes, included parts and total price.

On the wall: Copper Orchard Framed Art Print, from $89. Framed prints include the frame, acrylic cover and hanging hardware. Hang one print around eye level above the chair, leaving enough open wall for the composition to breathe.

On the chair: Woodland Dusk Square Pillow, from $48. The autumn square pillows include a 100% polyester insert and a concealed zipper. One is enough for a small chair; add another only when the seat is deep enough to stay comfortable.

Within reach: Woodland Dusk Woven Art Blanket, from $129. It is woven from 100% cotton. Fold it over the arm so the pattern remains visible, or keep it close for the part of the evening when the room gets cooler.

On the table: a Copper Orchard Ceramic Mug, $28, on a Walnut Bloom Cork-Back Coaster, from $24. If you prefer the greener story, choose the Moss Window Ceramic Mug, $28. A Quiet Arches Glass Candle, from $39, adds a low evening light without asking the whole room to change.

That is five decisions: art, softness, warmth, a cup and light. The restraint is what lets the corner feel collected rather than staged.

Your one-page mood board worksheet

Take a sheet of paper or a blank document and make four boxes. The point is to decide what the corner needs before you start adding objects.

  1. Corner. Sketch the chair, wall, window, outlet and table. Note what you already own and will keep.
  2. Colors. Write down three: the wall or floor, the largest textile, then Copper Orchard or Woodland Dusk as the art accent. Keep the other collection for one small accent only.
  3. Pieces. List one wall-art piece, one textile and one tabletop object. Write the exact Nollei product name, collection and product URL beside each. Leave size or finish blank until you open the product page.
  4. Light and ritual. Note the daylight and one evening light. Write the everyday use—morning cup, reading hour or wind-down—and remove anything that does not support it.

Small-space checklist

  • Choose one focal wall piece instead of three small pieces competing for attention.
  • Keep one soft layer that can be folded or moved when the chair is in use.
  • Leave the table clear enough for a cup and candle.
  • Keep cords and clutter out of the walkway and the frame of the room.
  • Measure the chair width, wall width and table height before choosing a size or finish.
  • Read the shipping and ordering notes before payment if the corner is needed for a specific date.

How ordering works

Choose the listed size or finish where the product page offers one, then the piece is produced after purchase. Product pages explain materials, measurements and included parts. At publication, Nollei states that typical production and delivery take 5–12 business days; standard US shipping is $8.95, or complimentary on orders of $100 or more. Available delivery options and the full total are shown before payment.

Read shipping, tracking and damage guidance before you order, then return to The autumn edit when you are ready to compare the two palettes.
