City decor guide · Chicago, IL · Updated October 2026
Home decor in Chicago, Illinois.
Nollei ships made-to-order wall art, rugs, woven textiles, bedding, bath pieces and tabletop objects to eligible addresses across Chicago. This guide explains nationwide ordering facts and offers practical selection guidance for brick two-flats, Lincoln Park vintage apartments and suburban open-plan homes. It does not imply a local Nollei shop, warehouse or same-day delivery service.
Choosing for Chicago
Chicago includes brick two-flats, Lincoln Park vintage apartments and suburban open-plan homes. That range is why Nollei does not label one design as the city's universal style. Measure the actual room, note its daylight and existing wood or metal tones, then choose the product format before choosing artwork.
Because of the city's varied housing stock, material appearance and placement matter. Use room mockups as composition references, not exact scale diagrams, and check every live variant's listed measurements before ordering.
Scale before style
Start with the room's largest unresolved surface. A rug should connect furniture rather than float between it; a wall piece should respond to the wall's width; a gallery board belongs where its oak stand has visible breathing room. Mark dimensions with painter's tape or paper before checkout.
In apartments and smaller rooms, wall clocks, gallery boards and acrylic table signs add artwork without consuming floor surface. In larger homes, a statement rug or woven tapestry can anchor the room's palette.
Made to order, made for you
Every Nollei piece is produced after purchase. This means no warehouse inventory, no excess stock and no compromise on format. Choose the exact size, finish and variant on the product page, and the piece is made specifically for your order.
Production and delivery typically take 5–12 business days. Standard US shipping is $8.95, and orders above $100 receive complimentary shipping across the United States, including Chicago.
