Umber Grid began as one original composition in the Nollei studio. The motif and palette were set first, then tested across the formats the artwork can hold: home decor, tabletop and wall art. Nothing here is licensed stock imagery or a pattern bought from a library.
The collection is produced to order. A framed print is printed on matte paper, fitted to the selected wood frame and finished with an acrylic cover and hanging hardware. A woven piece is made from cotton yarn, where the structure changes fine detail and colour depth. A tabletop piece is printed or formed on the material named on its product page. The format is not decoration applied after the fact; it determines how the artwork behaves in the room.
Because production begins after payment, there is no finished warehouse stock waiting to be relabelled. The trade-off is a short production window, typically 5–12 business days, and small variation between the screen and the finished material. Both are stated before checkout.
Current range in this collection: $28–$249 across available sizes and finishes. Prices are updated with the production catalog and shown on each product page.
Every product page states the material and what is included. These are the materials recorded for the Umber Grid pieces currently available:
Frames are supplied in the finishes shown on the product selector. Wall clocks use a wood frame, a plexiglass face and a silent mechanism, and require one AA battery that is not included. Where a piece includes an insert, stand, cover or hanging hardware, the product page says so.
Care follows the material rather than the collection. These are the rules we apply to the formats in this collection.
Dust framed prints and acrylic with a dry, soft cloth. Keep them out of direct sun and away from damp walls. Do not spray liquid onto the frame or cover. Canvas is dusted dry and never soaked.
Shake out loose dust. Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air-dry flat. Do not bleach or tumble-dry; the weave and fringe can distort. Follow the fibre stated on the product page.
Wipe printed hardboard and cork with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Hand-wash glazed ceramics unless the product page says otherwise. Trim candle wicks and never leave a flame unattended.
Product pages may add a specific instruction for a particular finish. Read that note before using a cleaner or storing a piece.
