What Nollei is
Nollei is an online-only home store. We sell wall art, woven textiles, rugs, lighting, tabletop pieces and useful objects for the home. Every public product is connected to a real production product and an enabled size or finish. There is no showroom, no warehouse open to the public and no membership.
The model is retail, not subscription. You choose a piece, pay the published price, and the piece is produced for that order. There is no application, waiting list or approval step to buy from the catalog. The price you see is the price used at checkout.
Our artwork is original and designed in-house. The catalog applies one visual language across different materials: paper, canvas, acrylic, cotton, wood, cork, ceramic and glass. Collections are intended to coordinate, not to force a matched set. We would rather sell one well-chosen piece than six that repeat each other.
What we do not claim. Nollei is not a university, an accredited school or a design institution with a faculty. We do not claim awards, press coverage, artist representation, physical stores or certifications that we cannot evidence. If a claim is not verifiable, it does not go on the site.
Team and responsibility
The studio is deliberately small. Work is organised by role, and each role has a named responsibility for what the customer sees and receives.
Studio lead
Accountable for the collection, the published standards and the final wording of this page.
Editorial
Writes and reviews product descriptions, guides and policy pages. Checks materials, measurements and included parts against the production record.
Production
Checks that the selected size, finish and artwork reach the production partner as ordered, and that made-to-order timing is stated plainly.
Customer care
Answers order, delivery, damage and return questions at hello@nollei.com. A person reads the message; there is no chatbot on paid support.

The catalog is edited for the home, not assembled from everything a production catalog can print. Apparel, children's products, pet products, journals and unrelated accessories are excluded. A product appears only when the artwork, format and material make sense together.
What we publish before you buy
- The material and construction of the piece, as recorded in the production data.
- The available sizes, finishes and the current price for each option.
- What is included, such as a frame, acrylic cover, hanging hardware, insert, stand or battery requirement.
- The limits of the format: how weaving changes detail, how screens differ from materials, what a clock needs.
- Typical production and delivery timing, and the return conditions that apply.
How we use images
Product galleries combine production mockups and styled room images. A room image shows proportion, palette and use; it is not a measurement drawing. Where a material changes the look of the artwork, the product copy says so. We do not present a mockup as a photograph of a finished one-off object.
Independence and commercial interest
Nollei sells its own collection. We do not publish paid rankings, sponsored product placements or affiliate recommendations inside buying guides. Comparison pages are written to explain differences in format, price and service, and they identify Nollei as the store making the comparison. Where a competitor does something better, the page says so.
Language
Plain words first. A condition, a number or a limit wherever one exists. No exclamation marks, no invented urgency and no permanent discount language. If a price changes, the product page and structured data change together.
Corrections policy
Errors are corrected in public, not quietly rewritten. If a material, measurement, included part, price, delivery statement or policy is wrong, email hello@nollei.com with the page address and what you believe is incorrect.
- We check the claim against the production record and the published policy.
- Material corrections are made to the page itself, not only to a footnote.
- The review date at the top of this page changes only when the substance changes. It is not moved to simulate freshness.
- If a correction changes an order in progress, we contact the customer directly using the checkout email.
Corrections are recorded by date and by page. Where a product statement cannot be verified, it is removed rather than softened into something ambiguous.
Materials and making
Each piece is produced after payment in the size or finish selected. The table below states the materials we publish for the main formats. The individual product page is the authority for the exact variant you are buying.
| Framed art prints | Matte paper, a wood frame in the selected finish, a protective acrylic cover and hanging hardware. The frame, cover and hardware are included. |
|---|---|
| Gallery canvases | Printed canvas stretched over a wooden frame. The edge treatment follows the selected format. |
| Acrylic panels | Printed acrylic with a glossy face, supplied for wall hanging in the listed orientation. |
| Woven blankets and textiles | 100% cotton yarn, woven rather than flat-printed. Fringed edges. Weaving changes fine detail and colour depth; the mockup is a guide to the design, not a pixel match. |
| Wall clocks | Wood frame, plexiglass face and a silent metal mechanism, with a back hook fitted. Indoor use. One AA battery is required and is not included. |
| Coasters and hardboard pieces | Printed hardboard top with a cork base. The printed surface is glossy; the cork side protects the table. |
| Ceramic and glass tabletop | Ceramic vessels or glass candle vessels with the materials listed on the product page. Candle wax and wick details are stated per piece. |
| Table linens | Woven or printed textile in the fibre stated on the product page, with the listed dimensions and care limits. |
Made-to-order production means there is no finished warehouse stock waiting to be relabelled. It also means a short production window before dispatch, and slight variation between a screen and the finished material. Both are stated before checkout rather than after.
Care
Care follows the material, not the collection. These are the general rules we apply; the product page may add a specific instruction for a format.
Framed prints and acrylic
Dust with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvent and direct sunlight on the face. Do not spray liquid onto the frame or cover.
Canvas
Dust lightly with a dry cloth. Keep away from damp walls and direct heat. Do not wash or soak a stretched canvas.
Woven textiles
Shake out loose dust. Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air-dry flat. Do not bleach or tumble-dry; the weave and fringe can distort. Follow the fibre stated on the product page.
Clocks
Wipe the frame with a dry cloth and the face with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Keep the mechanism dry. Use one AA battery; remove it if the clock will be stored.
Cork and hardboard
Wipe the printed face with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not immerse. Keep the cork base dry so it does not swell.
Ceramic, glass and candles
Hand-wash glazed ceramics unless the product page says otherwise. Trim candle wicks before each use and never leave a burning candle unattended.
Shipping and returns
Standard US shipping is $8.95 per order. Orders of $100 or more ship at our cost. Checkout currently accepts delivery addresses in the United States and Canada. Production and delivery typically take 5–12 business days depending on the selected format and destination; the final available option and total are shown before payment.
Tracking is issued after production and carrier handoff. If an address must change, write before production begins. Once a piece is in production, the address cannot be changed.
Most items may be returned within 30 days in original condition with all packaging. Pieces that arrive damaged, defective or different from the ordered variant are replaced or refunded, and return shipping is covered in those cases. Made-to-order pieces are not interchangeable warehouse stock, so we ask for photographs and the order reference before arranging a return.
The full delivery and returns detail sits on the shipping page. Order questions go to hello@nollei.com.
Contact
For order support, a correction, a trade enquiry or a press question, write to the studio. Include the order reference or the page address so the message reaches the right person.
Trade and project sourcing has its own page: contact and trade enquiry. Trade sourcing does not change the retail price, the return conditions or the public catalog.
